Mayursia formally adopts the Second Constitution, Effective Immediately
The Second Constitution represents a comprehensive and forward-looking framework that strengthens the foundations of Mayursia’s governance. New provisions have also been introduced to safeguard the environment, promote sustainable development, and ensure that all citizens are afforded equal opportunities and protections under the law.
In his address to the nation, His Royal Majesty, the Monarch of Mayursia, emphasized the importance of the new Constitution as a beacon of hope and progress for all Mayursians. “This Constitution is a testament to our shared commitment to building a just, peaceful, and prosperous Mayursia. It is not merely a legal framework but a reflection of our values, aspirations, and the enduring unity of our people,” His Royal Majesty declared.
The adoption of the Second Constitution also marks the beginning of a new era for Mayursia’s provinces and overseas territories, with clearer definitions of their roles and responsibilities within the Kingdom. The National Capital Territory of Dharmapur remains the political, cultural, and administrative heart of the nation, while the overseas colonies will be governed with a renewed focus on equitable development and the protection of their unique identities.
His Royal Majesty's Government has assured the people that all necessary steps will be taken to ensure the smooth implementation of the new Constitution. Ministries, public institutions, and local authorities have been directed to align their policies and operations with the new legal framework, with a particular focus on upholding the rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution.
This historic adoption of the Second Constitution of Mayursia, effective immediately, stands as a milestone in the Kingdom’s journey towards national development, unity, and prosperity. Mayursia now looks ahead with renewed confidence and determination, guided by the principles enshrined in this Constitution and inspired by the enduring spirit of its people.
